MechTag ID™ connects your building's physical infrastructure to a permanent digital record. From the main Building Code to individual asset tags — every valve, pump, panel, and piece of equipment becomes instantly identifiable and permanently tracked.
Every building is assigned a main MechTag ID™ Building Code — the digital gateway to the entire building profile. It can be placed at the entrance, security desk, mechanical room, or property management office.
Users can search the building profile by unit number, floor, room, system type, or asset category. Find the right valve, riser, or piece of equipment in seconds — no binders, no drawings, no guessing.
Each valve, pump, panel, and piece of equipment has its own unique MTID TAG™ with a QR or NFC code. Scan the tag to instantly open that asset's complete digital profile.
The asset profile shows photos, exact location, system details, model numbers, service history, manuals, emergency instructions, and contractor notes — everything in one place.
Authorized contractors can scan any asset tag and add service notes, photos, repairs, inspections, and maintenance records directly through the MechTag ID™ App — building a permanent digital history.
Over time, the building develops a complete, verified digital infrastructure record — surviving ownership changes, staff turnover, and contractor transitions. The building never loses its history again.
The main Building Code is the digital front door to the entire building. When scanned, it opens the building's complete digital profile — giving authorized users instant access to everything they need to know about the building's infrastructure.

Individual MTID TAG™ codes are installed directly on or near equipment, valves, risers, pumps, panels, and other building assets. Each tag contains a unique record for that specific asset.
Authorized contractors scan any asset tag and add service information directly through the MechTag ID™ App. Every entry is timestamped, attributed, and permanently stored — creating a complete, verified service history for the building.
